NVIDIA to Preview Highly-Anticipated NVIDIA nForce and SLI Solutions for Intel Platforms at IDF

NVIDIA Also Presenting Keynote on NVIDIA nForce and TurboCache Technology NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), a worldwide leader in graphics and digital media processors, today announced the Company will preview its upcoming NVIDIA nForce™ core-logic solutions for Intel CPUs, including support for NVIDIA SLI graphics technology, at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) this week. Drew Henry, general manager of MCP business at NVIDIA, will also deliver a keynote address for IDF, being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, on Tuesday, March 1, at 10:30 a.m. in room 2004. Mr. Henry will speak on the topic: “Developing the New Enthusiast PC”, and outline the benefits that NVIDIA nForce media and communications processors (MCPs) will bring to Intel computing platforms, including SLI, integrated firewall security, and the safe storage of digital media files and content.

“Informed gamers and PC enthusiasts know that NVIDIA SLI graphics technology and NVIDIA nForce MCPs are synonymous with incredible performance and exceptional features,” said Drew Henry, general manager of platform business at NVIDIA. “I am excited to provide IDF attendees with a preview of the features and performance that NVIDIA nForce MCPs can bring to Intel-based PCs.”

In addition, Barry Wagner, director of technical marketing at NVIDIA, will present on the topic: “NVIDIA TurboCache: Taking PCI Express to the Next Level,” on Wednesday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m. in room 2004.

NVIDIA will demonstrate a variety of its products and technologies at the event, in booth number 502, including:

NVIDIA nForce MCPs, the award-winning NVIDIA core-logic solutions
NVIDIA SLI, which allows users to combine the power of two graphics processing units (GPUs) in a single PC system for scalable graphics performance, enabling a new class of PCs called Gaming Supercomputers.
Mobile PCI Express Module (MXM), which supports a wide range of mobile graphics solutions and is designed to lower the time to market for new mobile GPUs.
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 GPUS with TurboCache technology, a new patent-pending hardware and software technology which allows a GPU to render directly to system memory leveraging the high transfer rate of PCI Express, instead of using local memory on the graphics card.

NVIDIA GeForce 6 Series GPUs for PCI Express, a complete, top-to-bottom product line-up of GPUs based on an innovative new 3D graphics architecture.
