Plextor Releases Ultraportable EX1 Portable SSD
Plextor has made available the EX1, an external mobile SSD solution weighing a mere 30 grams. The EX1 is as portable as traditional flash drives and without the vibration or heating problems of external hard drives. The EX1 is fast (550/500 MB/sec continuous reading/writing speeds), shock-resistant, quiet and supports OTG on Android devices to enhance the convenience of mobile storage.
In addition, the EX1's outer casing is designed with curves and comes in two colors - gold and titanium silver; with a Type C to Type A USB adapter as well as a carrying pouch.
The EX1 comes in 128/256/512 GB of storage capacities, and the entire series is covered by a five-year warranty.
