Research in Motion officially announces the BlackBerry Pearl
Officially, the BlackBerry Pearl is known as the 8100 Smartphone. This phone is apparently as thin as the Motorola RAZR and shorter than the SLVR. For the first time, RIM has put in a mega pixel camera and true multi-media features.

No official word on pricing, but $199.00 seems to be the price thrown about on the Web. The Pearl should appear in T-Mobile stores next week.
