Samsung Brings 5G to The Masses With The New Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy A51 5G Smartphones
Samsung Electronics today revealed the new Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy A51 5G smartphones, adding 5G connectivity and enhanced features to the popular Galaxy A family.
The new smartphones are packed with an Infinity-O display, quad camera, long-lasting battery and connectivity through 5G.
The A51 5G has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. And for those who need more space, the A71 5G offers 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display. You can get even more out of favorite mobile games with the AI-powered Game Booster, which maintains optimum performance while you’re in the middle of the action. Both devices come with 4,500mAh battery and fast charging capability.
The Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G are also secured by Samsung Knox, Samsung’s defense-grade security.
The Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G’s quad cameras and intelligent photography innovations make capturing and sharing dynamic images and video fast and easy. The A71 5G’s 64MP and the A51 5G’s 48MP main camera, along with 12MP Ultra Wide camera can take sweeping landscape images while the 5MP Macro camera and 5MP Depth camera capture details of close-up objects, adding a background blur effect around the subject.
Shoot and share live videos with the Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G’s Super Steady video, which automatically stabilizes footage for you. And with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB/8GB RAM, along with Micro SD support up to 1TB, you’ll be able to capture and save videos and photos without worrying about running out of storage space.
Both the Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G feature a glossy finish. Each device also comes in a range of new pastel shades. The A71 5G comes in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube Sliver and Prism Cube Blue while the A51 5G comes in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube White and Prism Cube Pink. Both devices benefit from Samsung’s ecosystem of intelligent apps and services including Bixby (Vision, Lens Mode, Routines), Samsung Pay and Samsung Health.
The Galaxy A51 5G will be available this summer starting at $499.99. The A71 5G will be available starting at $599.99.

A Galaxy for Everyone
Samsung also plans to launch in the U.S. its 2020 Galaxy A series line-up of devices on April 9, with the Galaxy A01 and the Galaxy A51.
The U.S. launch of the 2020 A series starts with the availability of the Galaxy A01 and A51 on April 9 at select carriers, retailers – either online or through in-store pick-up – and on Samsung.com. Later this summer, Samsung will launch additional Galaxy A series devices, including the Galaxy A11, A21, A51 5G and A71 5G.
The Galaxy A01 packs all the smartphone essentials. It’s got all of the core Galaxy features — a 5.7” HD+ Infinity-V display, a multi-lens camera with a 5MP front-facing camera, 13MP rear camera and 2MP Depth camera as well as a 3,000mAh battery, and it will be available starting April 9 for $109.99.
For consumers looking for a bigger6.4” HD+ Infinity-O display, the added ability to enhance photos with three lenses – a wide lens, ultra wide lens and depth lens – a longer-lasting, 4,000mAh battery and 32GB of storage, the Galaxy A11 has them covered. It will be available this summer starting at $179.99.
Taking things up a notch, the Galaxy A21 is built for those looking for upgrades in their smartphone essentials, with a 6.5” HD+ Infinity-O display and a quad-camera with a 16MP main camera and ultra wide, depth and macro lenses for more creative photography. It’s powered by a 4,000mAh battery that lets users charge up in a flash with 15W Fast Charge support, and will be available this summer starting at $249.99.
Across the board, the Galaxy A51 delivers enhanced Galaxy features. It has a 6.5” FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display and a powerful camera that captures shots with a 48MP main lens. It also delivers an amped up performance, so consumers can multitask and game on-the-go with a 4,000mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage that is expandable up to 512GB, with a microSD card. The Galaxy A51 will be available starting on April 9 for $399.99.
