Samsung Could Include Blockchain Wallet With The Galaxy S10 Series
Samsung is soon to make its most-anticipated Galaxy S10 series official and new rumors suggest that the South Korean company will launch its blockchain wallet for cryptocurrency along with the 2019 flagships.
Tipster Ben Geskin posted images on Tweeter hinting at the Samsung Blockchain KeyStore, which is expected to be a cold wallet for improved security to store cryptocurrency along with public and private keys.
Additionally, it is suggested that Samsung’s blockchain wallet will support Ethereum cryptocurrency, with other supported cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and more joining the league.
It is also suggested that users will be able to import their existing wallets, as well as create a new wallet altogether.
For more information we'll have to wait until Samsung’s Unpacked event, scheduled for February 20.
The new Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10 Plus, the Galaxy S10 Lite, and a 5G variant are expected to feature Samsung’s proprietary Infinity-O display and could come in two processor variants: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820.
