Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Launches In The U.S.
Samsung Electronics officially announced the Galaxy Tab A 10.1", its latest tablet in the Galaxy portfolio. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1" features a Full HD display. Users have 13 hours of internet usage off of a single charge, combined with an Octa-core processor allowing users to accomplish everything they need. With the provided multitasking tools consumers can open two apps side by side - chat with friends while watching their favorite shows, or check email and play a game at the same time.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1" comes with a microSD slot to expand the tablet’s memory from 16GB up to an additional 200GB.
Consumers who purchase a Tab A 10.1" at retailers, will receive two tickets to see Suicide Squad when it opens in theaters August 5. The national retail promotion will run from July 15 through August 20, while supplies last.
The new tablet also comes loaded with Samsung Kids, a subscription-based safe, fun learning service for children ages 3 to 8 years old, available exclusively on Galaxy phones and tablets. Samsung Kids offers parents and children a library of expertly curated, engaging, educational games and books mapped to U.S. Common Core standards, with new content added monthly. The service allows kids to experience their favorite characters, games and content in a parental-controlled environment where parents can identify specific subject areas for their child to focus and control the amount of time they are using the app.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1" will be available at select retailers, including Samsung.com for $299.
