Samsung Releases Bixby In South Korea
Samsung's new digital assistant Bixby is starting to roll out to Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus users in South Korea.
Owners of Galaxy S8 series wll be soon able to use the Korean Bixby service through a software update and enjoy a voice-powered service.
Currently, Bixby supports 10 applications and functions: gallery, calculator, weather, reminder, Bixby Vision, message, setting, clock, contact, phone, and camera.
Samsung says that there are about 3,000 actions that can be performed through the Bixby Voice and that the digital assistant has been programmed to recognize millions of human voices.
Users can activate Bibxy by either call it out or use the Bixby button located at the left side of Galaxy S8 series.
Samsung plans to create more Bixby services such in more languages including Chinese and Spanish and further expand number of applications Bixby can support.
