Silicon Power US75 1TB NVME SSD
4. Conclusion
The US75 series is based upon a Phison chipset with full support for PCIe Gen4 x4, meaning you will get good sequential reading and writing speeds using higher than 32kb file sizes. We tested the 1TB that promises 7GB/sec writing and almost 6.5GB/sec writing speeds and in synthetics benchmarks, those numbers were confirmed.
In real-life tests, you can expect around 5.2GB/sec writing speed when using file sizes up to 45-50GB (single file), while anything above that will cause a drop in writing speed, probably due to fulfillment of the HBM cache technology that this product supports. The Silicon Power US75 series are priced aggressively, their 1TB drive costs around $80.99 and the drive supports up to 5 years of warranty (or 600TBW which isn't very high, 2TB has 1200 and 4TB 2400). Overall we feel that the US75 series is an entry level properly priced NVME SSD drive that could be used in all systems to improve performance compared with traditional HDDs and SATA SSDs.
