Japanese electronics and entertainment company Sony Corp said on Tuesday it plans to cut the domestic price of its PlayStation 2 (PS2) game console by 26 percent from November 13. The company's game unit, Sony Computer Entertainment, will cut the suggested retail price for the PS2 in Japan to 19,800 yen ($178) from 25,000 yen.
