Sony To Release Smartphone Games in 2018
Sony plans to release five or more smartphone games in Japan by March 2018, compatible with Apple's iOS operating system and Google's Android platform .
Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony's video game development arm, is looking to develop smartphone games based on popular PlayStation titles, which will target Japan and other parts of Asia.
The game titles are expected to be revealed by year-end, but they will not be available in the U.S. and Europe. Specific game titles weren't released, but possibilities include some of the PlayStation unit's own games such as "Hot Shots Golf," "The Last Guardian" and "I.Q.: Intelligent Qube."
