TDK announces officially TDK VeloCD 16/10/40

General Interest Dec 17,2000 0

We had posted the news about TDK's coming 16x recorder first and here is the official info about it. As we had posted this drive is based on Sanyo CRD-BP1400P which already have tested :)..You should expect the new TDK drive to ship from January (no info about the price yet!).

"...TDK takes CD burner performance to the ultimate level with its brand-new 16/10/40 veloCD ReWriter. Burn a full CD in a record-breaking 5 minutes with 16X writing, and rip a 3-minute CD music track in less than 6 seconds with 32X digital audio extraction.

True to the TDK heritage of digital audio excellence, the 16/10/40 veloCD burner offers bit-perfect 32X digital audio extraction. The 16X veloCD lets you burn while running multiple applications. With BURN-Proof write assurance technology, buffer underrun errors are eliminated. TDK makes CD rewriting faster and more convenient with the world's first burner capable of 10X rewriting. The new 16/10/40 veloCD burner comes complete with TDK's own CD Blender Software suite, as well as Nero 5.0 multimedia recording software and InCD packet writing software..." NULL
