TDK Japan ships "GCD1610FU" FireWire/USB recorder

DK Japan will start selling from 28th of April the "GCD1610FU" FireWire/USB and "GCD888UJ" USB CDR-W drives.
- The "GCD1610FU" is actually an internal TDK 16x CDR-W drive in an external FireWire/USB case. The drive supports 16x writing, 10x re-writing and 40x reading (with FireWire) and 8x writing with USB interface. The external case has size of 164×258×51mm and weights 1.9kg. Last the drive comes with Bs Recorder Gold (CDR Software) and Bs Clip (packet writing).
- The "GCD888UJ" supports 8x writing, 8x re-writing and 6x reading. The drive also supports "JustLink" anti-coaster technology. The external case dimensions are exactly the same as before. NULL
