Vuzix Introduces the M4000 Smart Glasses for Enterprise

Enterprise & IT Jan 7,2020 0

Vuzix today unveiled the Vuzix M4000 Smart Glasses, which features Vuzix' propriety waveguide optics and the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 platform.

This newest product offers all the computing power and performance of the XR1-based (with 8 cores and increased RAM and storage) and its enhanced AR capabilities couple with Vuzix' latest optical waveguide technologies to provide a completely see-through heads-up display.

The mechanical design has been ruggedized and waterproofed for wide-ranging applications like harsh environments. The display has been upgraded to a waveguide-based lens and DLP projection with increased resolution to WVGA (854x480). The camera has also been improved, increasing the performance of scanning and telepresence capabilities.
