Western Digital’s G-Technology ArmorATD Rugged Drive Performs Under Pressure

Western Digital expands its line of rugged products to include the new G-Technology-branded ArmorATD portable hard drive.

The ArmorATD drive is designed for content creators and audio/visual enthusiasts who want an all-terrain solution for moving and carrying their media and data.

Featuring a metal design and a rubberized bumper, it offers triple-layer shock protection, water/dust-resistance, and crush-resistance for up to a 1000lbs.

The drive offers USB-C connectivity with support for Thunderbolt 3, and is bundled with a USB‑C to USB-A adapter for USB 3.0 compatibility.

The ArmorATD drive is available in capacities up to 4TB and offers a 3-year limited warranty. The Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) in the U.S. is $89.95 1TB, $119.95 2TB and $169.95 for 4TB, respectively.
