Xbox Live and PlayStation Network Down
Christmas found many gamers around the worls struggling to gain access to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, since both went down this mornin, apparently due to a denial-of-service attack.
The hacking group Lizard Squad has claimed responsibility on Twitter for these latest outages, although neither Sony nor Microsoft have confirmed that, although
they acknowledged the issues.
"We're working to address this as quickly as we possibly can," reads a Microsoft post. "Thanks for your patience, Xbox members."
Sony issued the following tweet:
"We are aware that there have been issues reported with PSN. Thanks for your patience as we investigate."
