Xiaomi Announces New Smart TVs, Mi Soundbar
Xiaomi today introduced in India two new large screen TVs – Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55) and Mi LED TV 4A PRO (43) – along with its debut in the home audio category with the Mi Soundbar.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Eshwar Nilakantan, Category Lead, Mi TVs said, “We launched Mi LED TVs last year and the phenomenal response to the category has been overwhelming to say the least. We hit many milestones, including becoming the number 1 smart TV brand in India by selling over a million units in 9 months. We are very excited to take the most exciting category forward with the new TVs and add our first new category for 2019 – Mi Soundbar to our portfolio.”
Xiaomi’s Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55) comes with a 55-inch (138.8cm) 4K UHD display with the panel featuring 10-bit colour depth, and support for HDR10. The TV features 20W stereo speakers, a metallic grey finish, and Xiaomi’s Bluetooth remote, which features a built-in microphone for easy control using Google Voice Search.
The Mi LED TV 4A PRO (43)’s 43-inch (108cm) display features a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with the same 20W audio speakers and the Bluetooth remote as the Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55) model.
The Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55) and Mi LED TV 4A PRO (43) will be available via Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores in India for INR 39,999 and INR 22,999 respectively, starting 15th January 2019.

The new Mi Soundbar features eight drivers, including two 20mm dome tweeters for the highs, two 2.5” woofers for the mids, along with four passive radiators for the lows and enhanced bass.
Connectivity options include Line-In, AUX, Optical, Bluetooth and S/PDIF, making the Mi Soundbar compatible with almost any TV, from CRT to LED. Bluetooth support allows for easy pairing of the soundbar with any smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled smart device.
The Mi Soundbar will be available via Mi.com and Mi Home stores for INR 4,999 starting 16th January 2019.
