CyberLink Showcases Software Solutions for DVD Burning and the Digital Home at CeBIT 2005

CyberLink announced today that it will showcase new technologies as part of its digital entertainment solutions at the upcoming CeBIT show in Hannover. CES Innovations 2005 Awards Honoree and voted as Buyers' Choice at Computex 2004, CyberLink PowerCinema transforms a PC into a completely integrated entertainment center for the Digital Home. Offering an extremely powerful line-up of TV-enabling features, PowerCinema supports digital and analog TV content and tuner cards, Internet and Teletext-based electronic program guides (EPGs), and remote-controlled operation.

New Features include:
* UPnP certification for both MediaServer and MediaRenderer for accessing media files anywhere, anytime in the digital home
* DTCP-IP compliance for sharing protected content between digital products over a network
* Digital TV (DVB-S, DVB-T) and Dual/Hybrid TV Tuner Card support: TV direct burn, EPG, Time-shifting, etc
* Quick photo retouching and creation of photo slideshows
* Streaming movie services and online games from content providers
* A scalable platform for expanding features via plug-ins and downloads
* CyberLink Instant-On technology designed for the Linux version of PowerCinema
* Built-in support for DivX Connected Home Program

CyberLink DVD Solution is the ultimate DVD burning and creativity suite, seamlessly integrated with CyberLink PowerStarter and packed with CyberLink's latest DVD applications, satisfying all DVD burning needs.

Features include:
* Create and burn all media files: data, music, photos and videos
* Create movies and slideshows onto DVDs with professional menus
* Rip MP3s, edit videos and fix photos
* Back up important data and make copies of DVD movies
* Supports all media formats: DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-VR
* Burn onto double-layer discs and use 16x burners
* Easily upgrade and add more software via PowerStarter
* Double layer support
* Carries three logos from the DVD Forum: DVD-Video for PC Authoring, DVD-RAM for PC Authoring and PC Recording for DVD-VR to ensure the interoperability between DVD players, discs and CyberLink PowerProducer

Both solutions will be jointly displayed and demonstrated at CeBIT in many easy-to-find locations, including CyberLink's booth and the booths of many CyberLink partners.
