With integrated GPS, a 2 Megapixel camera, RDS radio and 3G connectivity, BenQ-Siemens' first Linux-powered handset is currently arriving on store shelves across Europe. The SXG75 is the first UMTS enabled mobile phone from Benq-Siemens. It is also the first Linux-powered handset by a big brand name to be available to the general public.



Introduced last year at Cebit 2005, it also features a high resolution 2.2 inch screen, Secondary VGA Camera for Video calling, FM Radio with RDS to back up audio and video playback It offers support for a number of formats. It has 64 MB of internal memory and a RS MMC card slot for memory expansion. It has Bluetooth, Instant Messaging, email support and PIM synchronizatidesktops.



Available now, the BenQ-Siemens SXG75 sells in the €375 EUR range, claiming up to 6 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby.
