Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Launches in Japan
Dell today introduced the Inspiron Mini 12, a small Internet companion that carries 12.1-inch WXGA display. The device will be globally available online in November.
Dell's latest offering has a starting weight of only 2.72 lbs and it is 0.92 in. thick. It comes with Windows Vista Home Basic installed, built-in webcam, 1GB of RAM and a choice of 60 GB or 80 GB hard drive.
Other features include built-in Bluetooth and 802.11b/g wireless.
Configurations starting under $600 (U.S.). Ubuntu and Windows XP operating systems also will be available before the end of the year, Dell said.
