Samsung To Hold Android and Windows Event On June 20th
Samsung is holding an event in June to unveil new mobile devices, covering both the Galaxy and ATIV brands.
The event will be called "Samsung Premiere 2013," and will kick off at 2PM ET (7PM BST) on June 20th, as you see below:
Samsung's Galaxy brand covers its Android phones and tablets, while the Ativ brand is used by the company for its Windows Phones, as well as its Windows 8 and Windows RT laptops, tablets, and hybrids.
Over the weekend, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GT-i9195) appeared briefly on the Samsung U.K. website, meaning that it will most probably go on sale in the not-so-distant future.
Earlier rumors suggested that the Galaxy S4 Mini would have a patterned metal back, a dual-core Exynos 5-series processor inside, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, and a qHD resolution.
Samsugn's event will follow Apple's yearly developer conference, WWDC, which usually contains important announcements about the company's upcoming software and hardware. Two days later, Microsoft's annual developer conference, BUILD will also take place.
