Sandisk Introduces The World's Fastest MicroSDXC Card, New USB Flash Drives

SanDisk today announced the SanDisk Extreme microSDHC and microSDXC UHS-I memory cards, along with the SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0, Cruzer Orbit and Cruzer Force USB flash drives. The microSDXC card offers up to 80MB/sec read and up to 50MB/sec write speeds and can be used with Android-powered devices with 64GB of capacity, providing an instant storage upgrade for capturing and keeping data. Also they are compatible with the latest cameras and sport/action Full HD4 camcorders. The card's UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) and Speed Class 10 video recording ratings ensure high performance for Full HD and even 4K HD video recording and playback.

The SanDisk Extreme microSDHC and microSDXC UHS-I cards are also waterproof, shockproof and resist x-rays. In addition, the new cards include an adapter for compatibility with full size SD/SDHC/SDXC supporting devices and a downloadable offer for RescuePro Deluxe data recovery software.

SanDisk Extreme microSDHC and microSDXC cards are available worldwide now in 16GB to 64GB capacities carrying MSRPs of $59.99 to $199.99.

SanDisk also today announced three USB flash drives, the SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0, Cruzer Orbit and Cruzer Force USB flash drives.

The SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 flash drive allows users to transfer, store and share large files with speeds of up to 80 MB/sec. The flash drive is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and is shipping worldwide now in 16GB to 64GB capacities carrying MSRPs of $39.99 to $139.99.

The Cruzer Orbit USB flash drive features a 360-degree swivel design with a protective cover that rotates to shield the USB connector from damage when it is not in use. This drive is less than 1.5 inches long and only over a quarter-inch thick. It is available now in 8GB to 32GB capacities carrying MSRPs of $19.99 to $69.99.

Built with a metal casing, the Cruzer Force USB flash drive comes with password protection software that allows you to keep files private while leaving the rest of the drive available for sharing. Force USB flash drive is available now in 8GB to 32GB capacities carrying MSRPs of $29.99 to $79.99.

All flash drives come with SanDisk SecureAccess Software, which offers 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection for private files while leaving the rest of the drive available for sharing.
