Nokia Lumia 1020 Specs Allegedly Leak

Nokia Lumia 1020 Specs Allegedly Leak

Smartphones Jul 11,2013 0

The specification list of Nokia's Lumia 1020 Windows smartphone have leaked online before Thursday's official unveilling. Besides the 41-megapixel camera with advanced optics - in which Nokia is banking to make up for its meager marketing resources and limited phone apps - the smartpone supports the Nokia Pro Camera app, which has been designed to provide simple controls for items usually used by advanced photographers, as well as Nokia Rich Recording providing distortion-free stereo audio, a report by Unleash The Phones claims.

The 41-megapixel PureView camera supposed to be equipped with a backside-illuminated sensor, optical image stabilization, six lens optics, and a Xenon flash with LED for video.

The specifications also states that Nokia's new flagship smartphone will have a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with 7GB of Skydrive cloud storage, and a 4.5-inch AMOLED 1280x768 display. The LTE device will also be able to connect over USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC with SIM-based security, and Wi-Fi, adds in GPS and GLONASS. It is also powered by a 2,000mAh battery with wireless charging support.

Nokia hopes that the new camera for the flagship Lumia smartphone will be enough for the Finnish company to regain market share from rivals Samsung and Apple.
