Facebook now has over 1 billion active mobile users, according to the numbers provided by Mark Zuckerberg in a call with investors following Facebook's acquisition of Oculus VR. In December 2013, Facebook revealed that it already had 945 million active mobile users.

Zuckerberg also added that Instagram has just passed the benchmark of 200 million active users, compared to 150 million three months ago. In total, over 20 billion photos have been shared on Instagram.
