HTC will add two new models to the Desire series of smartphones, the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle, in a product event on September 20. Economic Daily News (EDN) reports that the two models will feature innovative design and functions. HTC has highlighted the theme of the event as "Be Edgier" on invitations card sent to the press.

The high-end Desire 10 Pro will feature a 5.1-inch 2k display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU and a 12-megapixel main camera with 4GB RAM/32GB ROM.

The mid-range s Desire 10 Lifestyle will sport a 5.5-inch 720p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU with 2GB RAM/32GB ROM.

The two models are also likely to come with a fingerprint identification technology.

HTC has not provided any comment.
