Vive Financing Program Expands to PCs and Graphics Cards

HTC is rolling out three new Vive bundles that include PCs and graphics cards for the first time.

Starting today, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition and HTC VIVE bundle is available for $999.99. That's an estimated $200 off suggested retail price for both. With financing, the bundle will be available for $49 per month for 24 months (estimated shipping plus tax). Note this is a temporary bundle and will run through April 24 only.

The second bundle includes an MSI VR Ready laptop for $125 per month (estimated shipping plus tax). It sports:

  • Display: 17.3" Full HD Non-Reflection 1920x1080
  • Operating System: Windows 10 Home
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor (2.6-3.5 GHz)
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB GDDR5
  • RAM: 16 GB (8 GB x2) DDR4 2400 MHz Hard Drive: 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD + 1 TB (5400 rpm)
  • Special features: 120 Hz 5 ms Display VR READY Steel Series Full-Color Backlight Keyboard w/ Anti-Ghost Key + Silver Lining Killer Gaming Network E2400 Thunderbolt 3 Slim and Light Design Metal Build

For the desktop crowd, HTC is pairing HTC VIVE with the Cyberpower GXi970 for less than $99 a month (estimated shipping plus tax). The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme is VR Ready out of the box and optimized for gaming. Included in the package:

  • System: Intel i5-7600 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel B250 Chipset 8 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 24X DVD±RW Dual-Layer Super-Multi Drive
  • Operating System: Windows 10 Home
