CyberLink Launches PowerProducer 3
CyberLink announced today the release of PowerProducer 3, a new version featuring stylish DVD menus, intelligent video and burning technologies and enhanced authoring tools, making DVD authoring quick and easy.
New features in this version includes:

CyberLink PowerProducer 3 features alpha blending DVD templates, a technique to overlay two videos with the top video being completely or partially translucent so that the second layer is visible. PowerProducer 3 takes full advantage of this technique to design the menu background, thumbnail and the video frame creating a stylish DVD menu effect.
Furthermore, CyberLink PowerProducer features the latest video technologies: Smart Fit and MPEG@Best - to offer an automated approach for calculating video compression quality and optimizing CPU performance during real-time capturing. These features totally eliminate the need for manual adjustments to speed up the authoring and burning process.
