Amazon has unveiled the Echo Input (Portable Smart Speaker Edition) exclusively for the Indian market.

It has 360-degree sound and comes with a 4800mAh battery that powers it for 10 hours of continuous music playback and 11 hours of standby life. For best experience, keep the device plugged in when you don't need to carry it. You know that the device is fully charged when all the 4 LEDs turn off.

The Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker is a limited edition voice-controlled smart speaker with Alexa that is designed to be carried around your home while you continue to listen to your favourite music. Streams directly over Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot from Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, Gaana or Hungama Music. You can also pair the device to your phone via Bluetooth.

You can also use Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker to switch on the living room lights while you enter your home or switch on the geyser before getting out of bed - all without lifting a finger. With “Routines”, control multiple devices at scheduled times or with a single voice command, like switch on the AC and turn off the lights every night.

Th new speaker will eventually come to other markets. The Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition is now available on pre-order in India for 4,999 rupees ($70) with shipping set for December 18th.
