Apple To Unveil New iPhone At Oct. 4 Event
Apple looks set next week to unveil its highly anticipated new iPhone, which analysts say will have a bigger screen and work better with remote computing services.
Apple on Tuesday invited media to an event called "Let's talk iPhone" on October 4 at its Cupertino, California headquarters. The invitation did not have any other details
The new iPhone will probably have a bigger screen, a dual core processor, an 8-megapixel camera and probably inegration with the iCloud.
A JP Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz last week predicted that Apple would launch two new iPhone models. The iPhone 5 will be a lighter, thinner handset that would work on both GSM and CDMA networks, while the second device would be based on the iPhone 4 and will replace Apple's iPhone 3GS.
Mr.Moskowitz also wrote in a note to investors that the next generation iPhone would not support the fast LTE 4G wireless data networks.
