be quiet! while being very strict about basic "Black" colors, now presents its own version of "White" based products with the introduction of the Light Wings White series. We really liked the Light Wings Series at our previous view, and we can say that the WOW factor came to our mind while opening the retail box. The product build quality is excellent with a White matt finish that really gives you a premium quality feel. In fact, everything is in white, even the power/ARGB cables and the only black in this package, are the mounting screws, maybe for a stealth look, those should also have been white.

As with the "Black", the new "White" version has the same performance specifications and performance. There is a 3 years warranty for the Light Wings products and you can order them either in 120mm or 140mm and in the "normal" or "high speed" series. The "normal" 140mm RPM only spins up to 1500rpm, while the "high-speed" ramps up to 2200rpm, which improves performance, but also increases noise (20.6dB vs 31dB). At our testing, all Light Wings White 140mm PWM fans, were recognized from the Asus X570E-Gaming motherboard, and with the Asus Armoury Crate software, we synced up the color of all installed components.

Design and appearance matter a lot for many users, that's why be quiet! did introduced at first place the Light Wings series, and now completes (?) the series with the White version. Note that unfortunately, you cannot buy a single piece with the White version, you have to get the 3-package version at a price of €72.90/ $84.90 / £65.99 for the 140mm PWM / High-Speed variation. For that price range, we would love to have seen a fan/ARGB and not only an ARGB hub included.

Overall, we feel that the Light Wings White 140mm PWM is a highly suggested and recommended product, especially if you are looking to make a white case build and have RGB at the same time. Now we have to wait also for a white CPU cooler to be quiet! to fill up our SILENT BASE 802 white case :-)
