Dell on Monday announced two new Ultra HD "4K" UltraSharp monitors. Both the 31.5-inch and the 24-inch models are running at full 3840-by-2160-pixel resolution. Both Dell's 31.5-inch UltraSharp (UP3121Q) and the 24-inch UltraSharp (UP2414Q) monitors provide high color accuracy and 99% AdobeRGB and 100% sRGB coverage. The UP3121Q offers an 176°/176° viewing angle while the UP2414Q's viewing angle is a little wider at 178°/178°. They offer precise factory calibration to a Delta-E


Port-wise, the IPS monitors pack HDMI, DisplayPort, mini-DisplayPort, four USB 3.0 ports and a 6-in-1 media card reader. Meanwhile, the monitors are covrerd by Dell's 3-year warranty, which include "Premium Pixel Guarantee".

The UltraSharp 32 is now available worldwide for $3,499, while the $1,399 UltraSharp 24 is only available in South and North America to begin with and elsewhere on December 16th.

Dell says a 28-inch 4K monitor will be also available in 2014 with ports galore and a sub-$1,000 price tag.
