I/OMagic Corporation announced today the first in a series of new dual drives -- the internal DVD +/-RW/+/-R Dual Format 4x DVD Rewritable Drive. The internal DVD +/-RW/+/-R Dual Format 4x DVD Rewritable Drive is available in a beige or black bezel design and is the latest advancement in DVD burning technology. The retail package includes Pinnacle System's award-winning Studio SE, Expression and Instant CD/DVD software, and new CD burning technology that increases storage capacity giving users up to 1.4GB of storage space on standard CD-R, double the normal storage capacity of a CD-R.

The internal DVD +/-RW/+/-R Dual Format 4x DVD Rewritable Drive burns DVDs in +R, +RW, -R, and -RW. It features write speeds of 4x for DVD+R and DVD-R, 2.4x for DVD+RW and 2x for DVD-RW.

The internal DVD +/-RW/+/-R Dual Format 4x DVD Rewritable Drive features Pinnacle System's award-winning Studio SE, Expression, and Instant CD/DVD software which allows for the creation of DVD movies that can be played on home DVD players, authoring tools for data management and disk creation, as well as fun and easy ways to share digital photos on CD or DVD. Operating systems supported are Windows XP/2000/Me and 98 SE.
