Microsoft To Pay You Trade Up Your Old Computer
Microsoft is trying to convince people upgrade to a new Windows 10 device through the Easy Trade Up program, which will offer up to $300 reward to consumers who buy a qualifying computer from the Microsoft Store. According to the promotion, if you buy a qualifying computer from the Microsoft Store for over $599 until October 20th, the company will give you a rebate after you send in your old laptop or all-in-one - you'll get $200 for a Windows computer, and $300 for a MacBook.
Your trade-in device (All-In-One, Laptop or 2-in-1, Apple MacBook, Apple iMac) has to be under six years old and in working order with a minimum display size of 11.6 inches. Device with serious defects and mahot wear and tear will not be accepted.
The offer is running in the US, UK, Canada, India, Brazil, France, Germany, and Taiwan.
Even if buying a new computer is not in your plans right now, Microsoft is giving you the chance for a hands-on experience with some of its latest devices.
Microsoft fans in major cities from Atlanta to Vancouver will be able to get a look at the new Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, and refreshed Microsoft Band.
The event, dubbed Microsoft Device Night 2015, will include hands-on time with the devices, as well as demonstrations, a Q&A with Microsoft device pros, and food and drink.
Device Nights will happen in thirteen U.S. and Canadian cities. All events are scheduled for 7-9 P.M. local time. Here’s the complete schedule:
