Nero launches the next generation of its Suite Nero Platinum, the company's multimedia software with 7 applications.

With this new Nero multimedia package you're all set up to manage, stream, burn, play, rip, edit and share your multimedia content and data. In addition to the exciting new features, Nero offers for the first time the choice between two licensing models - one-time purchase of Nero Platinum Unlimited or Nero Platinum 365 for software which keeps you up to date for a full year.

With the new Nero Platinum 365, you receive VIP customer service as well as a year full of multimedia power with the most-current updates for countless applications. Nero Platinum Unlimited offers permanent use with a one-off purchase.

Nero Start has a new, interactive start screen with an assistance covering all major use cases. You directly reach the application you need thanks to the specific suggestions. Nero MediaHome comes with a new intelligent face recognition for even faster and more accurate assignment of portraits, persons, as well as groups. Using the same computing resources as before, significantly more faces are recognized in photos. Nero MediaHome also features improved heuristics for even more accurate assignment of previously recognized persons. Nero MediaHome sorts photo collections and recognizes persons on images in a matter of seconds.
