New Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition Packs Snapdragon 855+ Processor, 48MP Camera
Xiaomi today officially released the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition, following the success of its initial flagship launch.
On top of the regular model, the version is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and up to 12GB RAM + 512GB storage combination. The device also comes with a 27W fast charging adapter in-box.
The Snapdragon 855+ processor leverages a higher clock frequency (from 2.84GHz to 2.96GHz) and enhanced Adreno 640 GPU, enabling a 15% better graphics performance than the standard Snapdragon 855. Designed with mobile gamers in mind, Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition is also equipped with a more efficient, 8-layer graphite stack cooling system.
The 12GB RAM and 512GB variant debuts a cool Bionic Black color and mechanical structure inspired by high-tech armor.
The smartphone boasts a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a screen ratio up to 91.9%, supporting Sunscreen 2.0, low-brightness color grayscale optimization and DC brightness control and is certified by VDE for low-blue-light eye protection. The device also covers diverse shooting requirements with AI triple camera setup, including Sony’s 48MP wide-angle camera, 13MP wide-angle camera and 8MP telephoto camera. It even sports a 2MP pop-up selfie camera.
This version adopts the standard edition’s 4000mAh high-capacity battery and 27W fast charging feature, capable of achieving 58% charge in half an hour and a 100% charge in 72 minutes.
Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition is available in 5 color selections, adding the Bionic Black, in addition to the original variants: Flame Red, Glacier Blue, Carbon Black, and Pearl White.
