Nokia Introduces New Affordable Camera phone, the Nokia 108

Smartphones Sep 16,2013 0

Today Nokia introduced the Nokia 108 and the Nokia 108 Dual SIM, two ultra-affordable camera phones designed to give people purchasing their first-ever camera phone the opportunity to capture, share and play. Compared to the already available Nokia 105, the Nokia 108 brings new features including a VGA camera, at a low price point of just USD $29. Considering the low cost of the Nokia 108, it's also ideal for people who require an additional phone, either as a backup, or just as a companion in a situation when you don't want to use a smartphone.

The phone is equipped with 1.8-inch colour screen, FM radio, MP3 player, and offers support for up to a 32GB microSD card.

With the inclusion of Nokia's Slam technology, you can share those photos and videos, as well as other content between devices using Bluetooth. Slam is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled phones, including Android and Windows Phone 8.

In terms of battery life, you can expect to see a standby time of up to 31 days for the single SIM version and up to 25 days? standby for the dual SIM variant. Both have a talk time of up to 13.8 hours. Additionally, for music fans, the Nokia 108 has a music playback time of 40.8 hours.
