Nokia Offers New Music Service To Lumia Users
Nokia today announced Nokia Music+, which brings new options for a low monthly subscription fee of $3.99.
The original free Mix Radio service will remain intact, Nokia said.
Nokia Music+ is a smartphone music service that offers access to millions of songs out of the box without the need to sign up, sign in, or suffer adverts in between enjoying the music. In addition, users are able to skip songs and save playlists for offline uses. The service also allows users to download a unlimited music at eight times the existing quality and and play the tracks without an Internet connection. Lyrics are displayed on the Nokia Lumia phones. Finally, a web-app gives users the ability to play Mixes on their computer, smart TV or other connected screens.
Nokia Music+ will roll out in the next few weeks. The price will vary slightly according to territory, but is expected be available at around €3.99/$3.99 per month.
