Samsung has received d Wi-Fi 6 certification for its 2020 QLED 8K TV.

This marks the first time the Wi-Fi Alliance certifies a TV for Wi-Fi 6.

Samsung's flagship 8K QLED Y20 models (Q950, Q900) are the only 8K TV worldwide supporting Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and will offer consumers a more seamless entertainment experience with smoother streaming and gaming, as well as unconstrained internet access. The TVs are using Wi-Fi 6 chips made by Mediatek.
