Below you see the results of Futuremark's PCMark 7 Professional edition. The software includes 7 PC tests for Windows 7, combining more than 25 individual workloads, in an effort to approximate real-world usage.

We ran the PCMark07 secondary storage test with the 950 Pro configured as a second drive in the test rig. The 950 PRO 512GB drive scored a great 6157 points at the storage benchmark. The PCMark07 score increased from 5604 to 6157, or an improvement of 8.4 percent.

We continue with the PCMark 8 Storage benchmark, which uses traces recorded from Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and a selection of popular games. Unlike synthetic storage tests, the PCMark 8 Storage benchmark highlights real-world performance differences between storage devices.

The 950 PRo SSD scored 5107 points, over the 4985 points of the 850 PRO .
