For our tests, we used the following test system

  • AMD 7950X CPU + Noctua NH-U12A Chromax.black (2x120mm fans)
  • Asus ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI Motherboard with the latest BIOS installed
  • MSI 4090 Suprim X Graphics Card with the latest Nvidia Drivers installed
  • Samsung 980Pro 1TB with the latest BIOS NVME SSD
  • Seasonic Vertex GX 1000W Power Supply
  • Dell S2721QS 4K Monitor @ 60Hz
  • Windows 11 Pro Edition + latest updates installed
  • Test Stability:
    • quick testing 30min OCCT v12 Memory Test
    • stable testing Testmem5 absolute(01102021)@anta777.cfg (3 cycles)

Both modules were installed at the B2/B4 channels suggested by the motherboard vendor. With the latest ASUS BIOS boot-up process is very quick, compared with the past. We used the latest available 2704 BETA bios that include all the latest AMD optimizations and Windows 11 24H2 with all updates installed as well. Upon booting the system, you should enter the BIOS and select the EXPO profile (AMD) or XMP 3.0 (Intel) to get the best possible results. Note that by default, the system will choose 4800MHz if you don't make any adjustments. Asus also offers apart from the EXPO II (default), EXPO Tweaked, and other Custom timing for Hynix 2x32GB 1.40V products, which also were used to get more idea of how the product would perform. Other motherboard vendors could also include such optimizations for their users. By using the latest CPU-Z, ZenTimings, and AIDA 64 we can get more information about the installed modules:

Getting some first tests, the AIDA64 reports around 80GB/sec reading, 87GB/sec writing, and around 74GB/sec copying, while Latency seems rather high with 101ns

more benchmarks are displayed below

Using the Asus EXPO Tweaked and the preset for the 2x32GB 1.40V memory kits we got better and lower timings with great stability

AIDA64 scores are much better improved and latency is much lower.

while the memory mark seems much improved.

How about comparing this memory kit with another from G.Skill 2x32GB 6000MHz rated? It seems performance is close and overall scores will vary among tests and selected timings.
