Sony Announces Pricing and Availability for Three New Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speakers
Sony Electronics announced today pricing and retail availability for the SRS-X55, SRS-X33 and SRS-X11 portable wireless Bluetooth speakers. The SRS-X55 and SRS-X33 feature improved audio functionality thanks to various Sony technologies: LDAC, which provides 3x the data transmission capability for wireless listening, One-touch connectivity via Near Field Communications (NFC) to connect compatible devices, DSEE for spacious sound, and ClearAudio+ for more powerful bass and crisp highs.
The SRS-X55 provides portable sound in a compact design. It has a built-in subwoofer, dual passive radiators and 30 Watts of power outpu. With the built-in speakerphone you can answer phone calls, and the speaker's can keep the device on for up to 10 hours. The X55 also features a single USB (5V 1.5A max output) for smartphone/tablet charging capabilities.
The SRS-X33 is aportable Bluetooth speaker that is packing 20 Watts, full-range stereo speakers, and dual passive radiators. More than just a speaker, you can take advantage of hands-free calling with the built-in speakerphone at the push of a button. The SRS-X33 provides up to 12 hours of battery life.
The SRS-X11 is the smallest speaker in the new line-up, but despite its compact, it still offers 10 Watts of total power output and dual passive radiators. Using the Speaker Add function, you can connect two X11 units together to either create twice the sound power in Double mode, or split the sound signal to enjoy stereo sound in Stereo mode. The X11 also features speakerphone capability as well as 12 hours of battery life.
