Stream Videos, Photos, and Slide Shows to the Xbox One With Nero 2014
Nero's latest multimedia software Nero 2014 supports, among other, streaming of videos, photos, and slide shows to the Xbox One.
Users of the latest Microsoft console can't play back media content from USB sticks or external hard drives connected to the Xbox. Microsoft might add this feature in the future. Until then, Nero users can benefit from an alternative solution: With the "Play To" feature and Nero 2014, they can stream multimedia content from Windows devices to the Xbox One.
Through Nero 2014 MediaHome, users can select the Xbox One as target device for streaming. With Nero 2014 users who don't own a tablet or a hybrid device with an optical disc drive can also access CD, DVD, or Blu-ray Disc archives or watch videos from various sources on many other devices than the Xbox One - and they don't need to worry about format, resolution etc.
Nero 2014 was released in September. The suggested retail price is 79,99 euro, Nero 2014 Platinum is available for 99,99 euro.
