The drive reads in CAV the disc, starts from 2.61X and ends at 6.22X, producing an average of 4.41X.

Blu-Ray Movie 25GB Ripping

The latest MakeMKV version supports fully the drive to backup BD-Movies to your HDD with full reading speed.

We saw up to 6.1X ripping speeds that concluded a 21.13mins for a full disc rip.

BD-R 25GB

The drive started at 2.53X and finished reading at 5.97X producing an average of 4.26X.

BD-RΕ 25GB

The drive started at 2.11X and finished reading at 6.30X producing an average of 4.45X.

Dual Layer Blu-Ray Media

Movie 50GB

According to the official specifications, the reading speed for Dual Layer discs is up to 6X, which is more or less confirmed by our tests.
