Xiaomi Mi Note 10, Redmi Note 8T and Mi TV 4 Debut in Spain
Penta-Camera Era
The Mi Note 10 is a nearly identical phone to the CC9 Pro, model, announced yesterday in China. The smartphone encompasses five different lenses – a 108MP wide-angle lens, 5MP telephoto lens, 12MP telephoto lens, 20MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. This setup enables a zoom experience from 0.6x to 50x without compromising image quality.
The 108MP main camera is using the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP sensor offering the highest resolution of any smartphone on the market – 12032 x 9024. For the first time, the 108MP camera can produce billboard-level prints up to 4.24 meters high. The device offers a 1/1.33” large image sensor that supports 4-in-1 pixel binning to capture more detail in low-light conditions, while the 4-axis OIS enables clarity.
Photography enthusiasts who look to produce the most natural looking portrait photos will be pleased with the Mi Note 10’s 12MP 2x telephoto lens at 50mm focal length. Under low light conditions, the 1.4μm large pixel size and dual PD autofocus allows for sharper and brighter portraits.
The 5MP 5x telephoto lens is also capable of 10x hybrid and 50x digital zoom to complete the epic zoom range. In addition, the lens is equipped with OIS and a f/2.0 aperture for better images under non-optimal lighting environments.
With its 117 degrees field of view, the 20MP ultra-wide angle lets users capture landscapes and large group photos without having to cut people out; while the macro lens offers autofocus for closeups images.
Mi Note 10’s rear camera setup supports all-new Night Mode 2.0, which allows for greater light capture and combines multiple shots of the same scene for increased versatility. Concert-goers and night photographers will be thrilled with the RAW multi-frame noise reduction technology in the Night Mode 2.0 feature.
Mi Note 10 also offers ShootSteady video technology for a steady video experience, along with 960 frames-per-second macro slow-motion video and 4K video with the ultra-wide angle. Users can leverage Vlog mode to easily create videos with seven different cinematic effects.
Aside from the penta rear camera setup, Mi Note 10 also features a 32MP front camera, which offers AI beautify, AI portrait selfies, AI scene detection, and AI face unlock, panorama selfie, and palm shutter feature.
Xiaomi also offers Mi Note 10 Pro with an 8-piece lens on the primary camera and a large 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
Mi Note 10 features a 6.47” 3D curved AMOLED display. The edge-to-edge display offers slimmer bezels than ever, while the 400,000:1 contrast ratio allows for deeper blacks and higher color fidelity. Mi Note 10 offers the all-new 88% thinner in-screen optical fingerprint sensor, with a 10% larger fingerprint detection area that is responsive under strong light, cold conditions, and dry fingers.
On the back, Mi Note 10 is encased with 3D curved glass. Both the front and the back feature Corning️ Gorilla Glass 5.
The device is offered in three colors – Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Glacier White.
Mi Note 10 offers an impressive battery life. The high-capacity 5260mAh battery supports 30W fast-charge and is able to last for more than two days. The device also utilizes the Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 730G mobile platform with 8nm process technology.
Aside from hardware, Mi Note 10 comes preinstalled with MIUI 11. Making efficient use of AMOLED screen capabilities, MIUI 11 makes Always-on Display a personalization tool. Besides that, MIUI 11 also introduces new dynamic sound effects.
MIUI 11 comes with a set of productivity tools and lifestyle services. Wireless file sharing, printing, working with documents, and managing tasks are all available out-of-the-box now. The new step counter, period tracker, and calculator make completing routine tasks fun.
