BenQ Unveiled Four New LCD Monitors

BenQ Unveiled Four New LCD Monitors

Consumer Electronics Nov 20,2006 0

BenQ today announced the addition of four new models to its professional-series of LCD monitors: 19" FP92W and 22" FP222W widescreens, plus 17" FP73GS and 19" FP93GS traditional format screens. Each offers dual input design for enhanced performance, convenience, and cost effectiveness. MSRPs are: $269 for the FP92W, $499 for the FP222W, $229 for the FP73GS, and $289 for the FP93GS.

These new BenQ monitors feature both D-Sub and DVI inputs to help ensure the best possible picture quality and video performance regardless of whether the input is analog or digital. Each also comes with proprietary BenQ Senseye technology to enhance display performance. Composed of three advanced image-processing units (color management, contrast enhancement, and sharpness enhancement), Senseye dynamically increases picture quality, while providing higher definition visuals that are deeper, richer and clearer.

Cleaner, sharper images - with no lagging or blurring when viewing videos or any presentation featuring fast-moving action - is assured with an unbelievably fast response time of 5ms. Additionally, 800:1 (FP93GS) or 700:1 (all other models) contrast ratios and 300 cd/m2 of brightness make it possible for the most finely detailed images and text-laden documents to be easily viewed, even in brightly lit environments, such as offices, conference rooms, or training areas.

All four new models come with i key auto-calibration and are TCO '03 certified for a clearer picture with better color reproduction and lower energy consumption and lower magnetic fields. All also are PC and Mac compatible as well as Windows Vista Basic compatible.

WXGA+ resolution of 1440 x 900 (FP92W) and WSXGA+ resolution of 1680 x 1050 (FP222W) assure that both widescreen models deliver crisp, crystal-clear images with no distortion or loss. The widescreen format also allows two applications to be comfortably viewed simultaneously.

The BenQ FP73GS at 0.47" and FP93GS at 0.51" offer users an optimum viewing space with their ultra-narrow side bezel design, giving both monitors a crisp and clean form factor. Both are ideal solutions for professional environments such as finance, health care, research, and communications centers.

All four of the new BenQ professional series monitors will be available mid-November through Tech Data Distributors at MSRPs of $269 for the FP92W, $499 for the FP222W, $229 for the FP73GS, and $289 for the FP93GS.
