HP's Chromebook Gets A Makeover With High Resolution Displays and Colors
HP has upgraded its Chromebook 14 to offer high resolution displays and long battery life in thin, colorful designs. The new HP Chromebook 14 is offered in Turbo Silver and Sky Blue, starts at 3.94 pounds and is 17.8 millimeters thin delivering up to 9 hours and 15 minutes of battery life with HD display.
The device is also available iwith a 14-inch diagonal optional Full HD IPS display.
The fanless design enables the HP Chromebook 14 to run quiet and is equipped with an Intel Celeron N2840 processor. Included with the Chromebook is a complimentary 100 GB of Google Drive cloud storage for two years.
Chromebooks and connectivity go hand in hand so the new HP Chromebook 14 comes with 12 free Gogo in-air internet passes to keep you connected when in flight. In addition, you will receive three free Google Play movie rentals and 90 days of free Google Play music.
Connectivity options include one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and a micro SD card reader. The HP Chromebook 14 also supports a HP Sleep and Charge port via a USB 3.0 port for charging devices on the go.
The HP Chromebook 14 is expected to be available in the United States on November 8, 2015 starting at $249.99. The Full HD HP Chromebook 14 starts at $279.99.
