OnePlus 6T Coming Exclusively From T-Mobile

OnePlus 6T Coming Exclusively From T-Mobile

Smartphones Oct 29,2018 0

The OnePlus 6T is launching exclusively at T-Mobile on November 1, a new smartphpne featuring in-screen fingerprint scanner, dual rear cameras, and no headphone jack.

This is the first time an OnePlus smartphone to be offered by a US wireless provider.

The OnePlus 6T lights up every speed-boosting advanced LTE technology on T-Mobile’s network (4x4 MIMO, carrier aggregation, 256 QAM, LAA and more). It is also the 21st device to light up the Un-carrier’s new Extended Range LTE (600 MHz).

The device packs 128GB of internal storage, fingerprint under display functionality, 8GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 845 processer, 16MP+ 20MP dual rear camera and 16MP front facing camera, a fast charging 3700mAh battery and a 6.41" 2K (1080x2340) OLED screen.

OnePlus decided to leave its OnePlus 6 camera hardware entirely unchanged in the OnePlus 6T compared to last year's OnePlus 5T. However, the company has made some software tweaks and optimizations: there are new de-noise algorithms, better edge detection in portrait mode, and improved scene detection. The 6T will apply process images differently depending on whether it detects their content as text, food, a night scene, or a shot filled with greenery.

OnePlus also adds a new night mode with its latest camera software. The 6T’s night mode opens the shutter for a fifth of a second, gathering more light than a regular shot and helping to restore some detail in the most contrasty areas.

For a limited time, the OnePlus 6T is available from T-Mobile for more than HALF OFF ($300) – that’s $0 down and $11.67 per month for 24 months after device credits when you trade in an eligible device and get your OnePlus 6T on T-Mobile’s interest-free Equipment Installment Plan.

Without trade-in, T-Mobile's customers can get the device for $0/down and $24.17/month for 24 months on EIP.

The OnePlus 6T will be available across teh U.S. through T-Mobile stores and on T-Mobile.com starting November 1.

In related news OnePlus announced that it is working on a 5G phone for launch as early as the first half of next year. The company is already working with European carriers.
