Instagram to Bring Direct Messages In Web Version
Instagram is expected to take its Direct messaging to the web soon.
TechCrunch reports that a web version of Instagram Direct Messages is being tested by the company, which will allow users to take up their chats on Instagram over the web.
Instagram’s parent Facebook initially had its messaging service on the web, which eventually became an app, and its sibling WhatsApp got its version of the web, back in 2015.

Instagram users have noticed that they have fewer followers today than they did yesterday. Katy Perry, for example, lost 900,000 followers. Professional influencer Kylie Jenner has been hit hard too, dumping 2.5 million followers in total.
Recently Instagram had sent notifications to people who it thought had shared their details with apps that offer to increase follower and like counts. The company said last year that it was actively seeking to reduce inauthentic activity on the platform.
