TDK partners with ECI for Technical Support

TDK partners with ECI for Technical Support

General Interest Dec 23,1999 0

TDK Electronics, a world leader in digital audio recording, selected ECI to provide technical support for future customers of its recently introduced veloCD Rewriter. The veloCD, capable of 8x write, 4x rewrite and 32x data read speeds, is the first step for TDK into the hardware market. Beyond its fast writing and rewriting speeds, the veloCD can rip at 24x - the fastest digital audio extraction speed in the industry.

Explaining the expansion into producing CD-RW drives Jim Browning, TDK VP of Marketing, stated, "With a TDK veloCD ReWriter, experienced and novice PC users will finally have a multifunction recording system that also addresses their needs for superior digital audio performance from a company they know and trust for the finest in music reproduction."

In providing technical support to the optical storage industry for more than five years, ECI is recognized for its expertise in the industry as well as for its innovative approach to technical support. Dennis Christensen, CEO and President of ECI, explained, "We don't approach technical support as simply operating a call center. We participate in the optical storage industry at every level which gives our clients the added benefit of a partner who understands the many nuances of the industry."
