Acer Brings 4K Display to its V Nitro Black Edition Notebook PCs
Acer is expanding its V Nitro Black Edition Series of notebook PCs, adding a configuration featuring a 15.6-inch 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) display. Suited for graphic intensive applications, the notebook also features a 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ Quad Core processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX860M graphics, dual wireless antennas supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies for speedy Internet connections, 16GB of memory, a 256GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive.
Recently introduced, Acer’s powerful V Nitro Black Edition notebook PCs also include four built-in speakers (8W total output) and Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater.
In addition, Acer’s Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC) is also included, so users can use the storage capacity on their notebook as their own personal cloud storage device.
Assassin’s Creed Unity, free digital download with purchase of qualifying models
Beginning November 3, 2014 and while supplies last, Acer will offer a code for a free digital download of Ubisoft’s PC game, Assassin’s Creed Unity. Anyone who purchase qualifying Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition notebooks with a Full High Definition display (1920 x 1080) from participating partners, Amazon.com, Newegg.com and TigerDirect.com, will receive the code for the complimentary digital download.
The new V Nitro Black Edition model featuring the 15.6-inch 4K Ultra High definition Display will be available from Amazon, Microsoft.com, Newegg and Tiger Direct in the U.S. in November. The MSRP is $1,499.99.
Additional V Nitro Black Edition configurations featuring 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Full High Definition displays (1920 x 1080) are also available, with prices to begin at $1099.99.
