Developed for the next generation optical disc formats, Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD, DTS new DTS-HD Master Audio Suite (MAS) encodes audio that is compatible with the Primary / Main and Secondary / Sub audio requirements of next generation disc formats, as well as for standard DVD-Video and DTS Surround Music CDs DTS announced today that Sonic Solutions will offer DTS line of high definition audio content creation tools called DTS-HD Master Audio Suite and DTS Surround Audio Suite through Sonic's network of professional product resellers worldwide. DTS audio applications complement Sonic's Hollywood-standard Scenarist Workgroup systems for professional producers of DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc titles.

The MAS features the newest technology from DTS, DTS-HD Master Audio, which delivers streams that are bit-for-bit identical to a master soundtrack with up to 7.1 channels.
